Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the team from Monviso Trek will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax and explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub. In the evening, there will be a briefing about the upcoming adventure.
Today, you’ll visit some of Kathmandu’s famous cultural sites, such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Durbar Square. Later, you’ll check and prepare your mountain bikes, ensuring everything is in top condition for the journey ahead.
The ride begins with an uphill climb through lush forests and local villages. As you reach Nagarkot, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Enjoy a stunning sunset from the hilltop before resting for the night.
The trail descends through terraced fields and charming villages, offering a glimpse into rural Nepalese life. You’ll ride through winding paths with spectacular mountain views before reaching Dhulikhel, a beautiful hill station.
