Itinerary

You will arrive in Kathmandu, where a representative from Monviso Trek will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After some rest, we will have a briefing about the climb. You can explore the city and prepare for the journey ahead.

We start our journey with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, a beautiful village and the gateway to Langtang Valley. The drive takes around 7 hours, passing through lush hills, rivers, and local settlements. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

The trek begins with a gradual ascent through forests, crossing rivers and small villages. We follow the Langtang River and pass by beautiful landscapes. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

Today, we continue trekking through dense forests and scenic valleys, gradually gaining altitude. We reach Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang settlement, where we stay overnight.

A short but beautiful trek takes us to Kyanjin Gompa, a famous Buddhist monastery in the Langtang region. We can explore the area and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.

To prepare for higher altitudes, we spend a day acclimatizing at Kyanjin Gompa. We can hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) for amazing panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and other mountains.

We trek toward Yala Peak Base Camp, leaving behind the vegetation and entering a rocky, high-altitude landscape. The stunning mountain views make the climb even more exciting.

Early in the morning, we begin our climb to the summit of Yala Peak. The climb is not technical but requires endurance. From the top, we get a breathtaking view of Shishapangma, Langtang Lirung, and other peaks. After enjoying the summit, we descend back to Base Camp.

After a successful climb, we retrace our steps to Kyanjin Gompa, where we can relax and celebrate our achievement.

We continue descending through the same trail, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and fresh mountain air.

Today is our final trekking day as we return to Syabrubesi, where we can rest and reflect on our journey.

We take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the evening in the city and celebrate the completion of your climb with Monviso Trek.
